Hello World

Meet the lab

Welcome to the DX Lab. This is a place where experimentation and research happens using technologies to find rich and interesting ways to explore our collections and data sets. Over the past 10 years the State Library of New South Wales has created a substantial amount of digital content through a major digitisation program focusing on manuscripts, artworks, photographic collections, oral histories, maps and published works. The Library’s collections document the heritage of Australia and Oceania from discovery through to settlement, from the 15th century to the 21st century. The Lab will be working with these diverse digitised collections and will explore different technologies to make them accessible in new ways.

We are a small team that works with a range of staff across the organisation to bring you DX Lab projects.

The Lab is working with the following values:

Collaborate | Experiment | Create | Engage | Be Open | Surprise
